Zeds Dead Feat Omar Linx – Cowboy [ƱZ Remix] *ULTRA*

The mysterious and unknown DJ who call himself ƱZ, has quickly become one of the top producers in the game. ƱZ continues to make music unlike anyone else while constantly putting on the filthiest trap shows across the world. ƱZ’s huge remix to Alex Metric’s Rave weapon followed by a dirty reworking to Birdy Nam Nam’s Defiant Order define this genius’ wide range of beats and melodies that all seem to be unbelievably catchy in their own way. Just a few minutes ago ƱZ finally released his remix to Zeds Dead’s ‘Cowboy’ which Zeds Dead has dropped numerous times in the past at shows. I first heard this track on ƱZ’s Podcast #25 (if you haven’t heard it yet you should check it out on his SoundCloud) where I got a radio rip but finally the entire track is here. Jason Ross – Unchartered Sessions – February 2013

San Diego sensation Jason Ross has been absolutely blowing up in the EDM world.  From masterpieces like this one here to insane iClub podcasts on iTunes too a complete FALL TOUR, this guy is killing the electronic scene!  This mix is only a taste of what he is capable of but let me tell you, this is the perfect mix of everything you need to hear. His residency at FLUXX Nightclub has got him opening for huge names and has got him shows all across the US with artists ranging from Tiesto, Avicii, Porter Robinson, Above & Beyond and many more.

Just Blaze & Baauer – Higher

Harry Rodrigues AKA Baauer (23) has teamed up with Justin Smith, the 35 year old Hip-Hop Producer know to the rap game as Just Blaze. They are currently on their Big League Tour, coming to a city near you (not SD). If you want to see them live in Caifornia, you’re going to have to beg us to hop on the STM jet and fly all the way to San Francisco. Smith is on Jay Z‘s record label along with one he founded himself. If you have a keen ear, you’ll notice the Jay Z sample in this song.

This song is one step closing to closing the gap between Hip-Hop and EDM. Trap has been reinvented this past year, from it’s old roots in hip-hop/rap to feature samples of these old/new rap artists. But with this song, and Baauers current tour w/ Just Blaze. I don’t even know what to expect from 2013. #trapmovement

Underworld – Rez (Bassnectar Remix)

So it turns out Bassnectar has yet to fail at dropping a jam anything short of epic.  This bass heavy sound could quite possibly blow out your speakers or completely short your headphones!  Bassnectar has a way with beats and bass that can only be described as out of this world, and he continues to prove himself on a regular basis.  It is best I dont get started on how EPIC his live shows are because I could rant on and on for hours. So since I will graciously spare you the time, be sure to give this banger a listen and go pre-order it to support the artist!! Like his Facebook and follow his SoundCloud for constant updates!!

TAYTO – HU$TLE!

This is Matteo Cinti, who goes by the artist name: TAYTO. We have shared his music before, but this is a little different. He’s decided to bend his generes and start up on his trap game. Being a 17 year old Italian/Irish/Dutch producer allowed him to gather influences from a vast selection of generes of the EDM craze. Sampling from Dubstep, DnB, Electro, Glitchstep, Glitchhop, Metal, Rap and many others he  has put in a fair share of work over the past year. Having lived all over Europe he waas able to broaden his languages as well as his entire perception of the music industry as a whole. He recently started producing seriously and will be releasing upcoming EP’s and tracks this year!

15 Minutes of Diamond Eyes DJ Set

This was mini mix was dropped by the heavy Dubstep group of DiamondEyes over Thanksgiving but never got a chance to post it up here. This mix features tracks from DJ’s you know like Datsik, Skrillex and Zomboy as well as some you may not. I was sitting in the airport waiting to board my plane back to San Diego and posting Datsik’s brand new Trap VIP called Bonified Gangster and when this mix started to play I was quite surprised when Bonified Gangster was the first track.
