HeRobust x gLAdiator – We Are

rob-hood-ep-herobust-free-dl-L-66cKi_

HeRobust, an Atlanta based producer has teamed up with the LA based duo on this one. They produced an exciting new track that will have you going ape shit. “We Are” is yet another Trap anthem by two of the biggest names in the game right now. Keep a look out for these guys coming to your town as they are on tour in the US right now!! Enjoy!

Jitta On The Track – Smoke Signals (D!RTY AUD!O Remix)

dirty audio

D!rty Aud!o, a Los Angeles native, has been making jams for about two years focusing mainly on the production of Moombahton which personally I am not a big fan of but when I first heard the song I got way down and had to throw it on repeat a few times. On this remix, D!RTY AUD!O takes the remix of Ellie Goulding’s ‘Lights’ by Jitta On The Track and Traps the shit out of it! Keeping a few dope bars from Jitta, D!RTY AUD!O takes the love track and turns it into a hood classic that will have you going crazy. Get down on this jam asap rocky because you are sure to play it at least five more times. Enjoy!!!

Alex Clare: Diplo’s Achievement remixed by Clark Kent and Kid Ranger

AlexClare

Yeah, I know this is a couple months old, but dammit I can’t get it out of my head.  Diplo and Switch helped Alex Clare boost his way to Microsoft commercial stardom earlier this year ( I can still say that, we have a few days) and caused the little known British song writer, heralded by the likes of Major Lazer who produced his first album The Lateness of the Hour with Mike Spencer, to become a top forty kiddie pop dubstep artist.  One for the transitional crew, the forty year old, “I still like young music,” crowd.  Either way, Clark Kent (bastard is twenty years old) and Kid Ranger remix this bad boy and make it work well, they put the acid back into Disneyland.  Cheers, enjoy this one.

Porter Robinson & Mat Zo – Easy (Bring The Noise Remix)

Easy-BTN-mix

The Dubstep trio from Los Angeles, California, Bring The Noise has been on the scene since 2008 starting out DJing small venues around their hometown. As the group has grown from small town sensation to the hard-hitting global craze that they have become today. ‘Easy’, released by Porter Robinson and Mat Zo a few days ago that has had everyone going crazy it is so good. Bring The Noise, who has been exploring many different genres through the years have given ‘Easy’ a nice and mellow Trap remix that will have you putting it on replay for the next hour. These guys have become an electronic force to reckon with these days and it is always great to hear more and more new mixes from them. Merry Christmas from PatrickReza!

Just in time for Christmas: PatrickReza, LA native, has released a holiday jam thats sure to bit a hit at the office christmas bash! Just kidding its filled with heavy BASS! Only 19 years old, this boy is younger than all of us here at STM. He is a heavy bass/dubstep producer thats only been in the game for a year. His fanbase has gone from 0 to 24,000 in 1 year…. He’s gonna have one hell of a Christmas this year, only leading into a better 2013!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from PatrickReza and the STM Team!

Porter Robinson – Triple J Mix From Australia!

“kiasfkdasd dope! you guys’ support got me and mat’s new track “easy” to #13 on beatport (main chart) and #6 progressive house after ONE DAY. thank you so much! so to say thanks, i’m uploading my 30 minute mix i did on Triple J the other day. sorry i don’t have it in higher quality. it contains some dope treats.” – Mr. Robinson, himself!

Plug in your headphones, turn up and don’t you dare touch that play/pause button for the next 35 minutes. Porter was so stoked that his new jam with Zo went from #13 to #6 on beatport, that he graced the world with this masterpiece. We’re still listening to it…so come back for a more updated review, but for now: Enjoy!

Borgore & Carnage Dropping Kennedy Jones Trap Remix of “Suavemente”

At 25 seconds, Elvis Crespo‘s voice (similar to that of a Latin Jesus) comes on….

SUAVEMENTE…..BESAME!

This song has apparently been floating around Borgore sets since part of the STM team saw him in Puerto Rico on our last spring break trip…But we’ve seen him 2 times since then and never heard it. Whats up Borgore?!… Well clearly he did his research before vising Puerto Rico. “Suavemente” originally by Elvis Crespo, a Puerto Rican-American Grammy and Latin Grammy award winner is a Puerto Rican classic! Go ahead and ask your your closest Puerto Rican, Mexican or Latin homie. Never would have though the genres of Trap and Merengue would be combined…But holy shit was was I wrong. Mind=Blown. Apparently the trap remix is originally by Kennedy Jones an upcoming trap artist who is performing with Borgore and Carnage this weekend in LA. The STM team really should be in attendance, but unfortunately we have some very big things coming for STM, so we will be busy at work in San Diego.

I’d just like to finish off this post with a shout-out to Christian for absolutely killing it on jams these past couple days while the rest of the team has been hard at work!

baauer

We have been waiting for sets to drop from Hard Haunted Day of the Dead 2012 and finally they are here! Baauer absolutely destroyed the stage right after going off at ƱZ. For everyone that was at Baauer’s set, listening to these sets will instantly take you back to the exact spot you were throwing down during each song and for those of you that missed the festival (Lex!) I am truly sorry but at least you have us to fill you in on what you missed! It was such a great night of rioting in line, amazing shows and ridiculously heavy bass all night that left my ears ringing into the next night; it was completely worth it. So here is Baauer’s set from Hard Haunted Day of the Dead! Enjoy!
