Wanna know what it’s like to be Major Lazer…? Just watch this video. It really gives you a sense of how it feels to be a DJ, well Diplo mainly. It’s minorly mind-blowing that we are sweating tits in the heat all day, getting down to zillions of different artists, and thats what we are used too, when we go to a festival. But if you look at it from the otherside, the aritsts are kicking it so hard. First of all they probably arent event at the venue until right before their set, they walk out of the Air conditioned van and step on stage. Some like to drink, some take drugs, others might be sober. Either way, it’s up to them to control the crowd for the next hour.

We have been waiting for sets to drop from Hard Haunted Day of the Dead 2012 and finally they are here! Baauer absolutely destroyed the stage right after going off at ƱZ. For everyone that was at Baauer’s set, listening to these sets will instantly take you back to the exact spot you were throwing down during each song and for those of you that missed the festival (Lex!) I am truly sorry but at least you have us to fill you in on what you missed! It was such a great night of rioting in line, amazing shows and ridiculously heavy bass all night that left my ears ringing into the next night; it was completely worth it. A remix to such a classic. Who though Jack Beats could get any better!? After leaving the crowd starstruck at their set at Day of the Dead with all sorts of new material: trap, and dubstep, it isn’t a surprise there is a trap remix out to this old jam! Get DOWN! Black Magic (Kill The Noise Pt. 2)

This opening song on Kill The Noise’s brand new EP called BLVCK MVGIC is nothing like anything that I have heard before. The intro starts out with choir singing “Kill The Noise” which is cleverly reworked in and out of the heavy duty baselines throughout the song. This track literally had me on the edge of my seat in anticipation of the drop. This anticipation of Kill The Noise’s epic filthy drops probably arrises from seeing him at Hard Haunted Day of the Dead 2012 only a few weeks ago where he absolutely destroyed his set. The Prodigy – Breathe (Zeds Dead Remix)

Let me start by saying, if you were not at HARD:  Day of the Dead, you already made one mistake.  Second, if you WERE at HARD: Day of the Dead and did not make it to see Zed’s Dead entire set, you’re really in the shitter, two strikes, asshole.  Not only was Day of the Dead an event put on perfectly by the geniuses over at HARD Presents, but the infamous Canadian duo ZEDS DEAD absolutely killed it.  Be sure to check back for the entire DOTD recap, but back to Zeds Dead…just killed it to say the least.  The bass ceiling these filth masters hit was out of this world, not only did my brain rattle within my skull, but the girl next to me had to leave due to excessive filth and bass.  It was the definition of an EARGASM.  Anyways, this remix of Prodigy’s Breathe has all the familiar sounds you have come to associate and love about Zeds Dead. Prodigy’s beat bumping song is now swirled ever so perfectly with the dark twisted sounds of DC and Hooks.  If your spine does not tingle to the sound of Zeds Dead killing it, just scroll to the next song and be on with yourself.  Zeds Dead baby, always sticking to number one in my eyes.
