Major Lazer feat. Flux Pavilion – Jah No Partial (Heroes x Villains Remix)

tumblr_lyogch0MfO1qhvfkl

This Atlanta, Georgia based DJ and production team made up of Daniel Disaster and Pete H continue to turn heads with every show they play and each track that they drop. Heroes x Villians have jumped on the Trap game quickly with full force which is fitting for Daniel Disaster because he was on the front line of beat making for artists such as Lil Wayne, T.I., and Waka Flaka Flame essentially creating Trap beats before the Trap/Dubstep craze came about. This track that they dropped today is a remix to Major Lazer and Flux Pavilion’s Jah No Partial banger that absolutely goes off when played at shows. This mix is chopped up, reworked and Heroes x Villians’ southern style is infused into the snares, hi-hats and heavy bass. Run da Trap!

BS-bbc1

When you see Bro Safari, you know you are in some “real trap shit.”  Along side Bro Safari, we see Diplo and Friends, which has featured some of the freshest artists of today’s musical uprising.  His explosion of new music and familiar bangers on this mix is absolutely insane and fits into anyone’s schedule no matter what time of day.  Not only did he include a full track list below so every jam can be pin pointed but he included a FREE download so be sure to snatch it up before its too late!!  As Bro Safari said, “It’s a real honor to have an hour of air time on such a prolific station. I just want to thank each and every one of you who have helped to get me to where I am now. I simply would not have any success without you, the Soundcloud community.  I’m not sure if the station will force me to remove this or not. I REALLY hope that they don’t, because I want you guys to have this mix to download and not just stream. The feedback I’ve gotten from this mix has been tremendous! So let’s hope that they let this thing stay up here. If not… Well, I tried!””

Alex Clare: Diplo’s Achievement remixed by Clark Kent and Kid Ranger

AlexClare

Yeah, I know this is a couple months old, but dammit I can’t get it out of my head.  Diplo and Switch helped Alex Clare boost his way to Microsoft commercial stardom earlier this year ( I can still say that, we have a few days) and caused the little known British song writer, heralded by the likes of Major Lazer who produced his first album The Lateness of the Hour with Mike Spencer, to become a top forty kiddie pop dubstep artist.  One for the transitional crew, the forty year old, “I still like young music,” crowd.  Either way, Clark Kent (bastard is twenty years old) and Kid Ranger remix this bad boy and make it work well, they put the acid back into Disneyland.  Cheers, enjoy this one.

Flux Pavilion – Do Or Die (ft. Childish Gambino)

What a combination: Flux Pavilion & Childish Gambino. It’s hard not to love this new jam.  As Gambino spits bars, Flux drops it hard. This song starts off, like its been playing for a few minutes already, its rather odd. But then as Gambino cradles us with his killer lyrics through the introduction, you almost forget that Flux is about to come in and change up the whole feeling of the tune. It goes from a gentle rap song with a catchy beat, to a little nestle of filth, but be assured that Gambino will come right back and save you.

Major Lazer – Jah No Partial ft. Flux Pavilion

Wanna know what it’s like to be Major Lazer…? Just watch this video. It really gives you a sense of how it feels to be a DJ, well Diplo mainly. It’s minorly mind-blowing that we are sweating tits in the heat all day, getting down to zillions of different artists, and thats what we are used too, when we go to a festival. But if you look at it from the otherside, the aritsts are kicking it so hard. First of all they probably arent event at the venue until right before their set, they walk out of the Air conditioned van and step on stage. Some like to drink, some take drugs, others might be sober. Either way, it’s up to them to control the crowd for the next hour.

As for the song, it was posted a few weeks ago. Check it out here!

Enjoy!

Snoop Lion – Lighters Up (Featuring Mavado and Popcaan)

Major Lazer has just released Snoop Lion’s (haha) new reggae song?… Who knows whats going on these days. As the rapper turned reggae artist hits the world with this, what are we to think?… Apparently, rap is too easy for Snoop Lion so he has decided to go straight reggae. This tune is not the normal genere posted on this website, so feedback is always appreciated. Seems to be a classic jam to snap a mole to, with its reggae beat and electronic undertones.

Flux Pavilion – Jah No Partial (with Major Lazer)

Flux Pavilion and Major Lazer! Unexpected trifecta of greatness. How can this song go wrong…? With slight reggae undertones coming from Major Lazer reggae’s sample’s of Johnny Osbourne’s “Mr. Marshall,” Flux absolutely kills the track. This song is a little different from Major Lazer’s last hit “Get Free,” it has a more of a reggae feel and a harder bassline throughout.

Enjoy!

TrAp MuSiK: ETC! ETC! & Brillz & Diplo – Bueller ft. Whiskey Pete (Vocal Mix)

It’s a Trap….

ETC!, Brillz and Diplo – talk about a Trap-Trifecta. Diplo, 1/2 the “Orignial Don” is after this trap movement and never stops letting us down. It’s going to be tough to be the trap anthems like ‘Spaceman’ and ‘Original Don,’ but this song is sure to hit you with some bass heavy sounds. For more Trap, be sure to check out DJ Carnage, as well. The SnapTheMole Team saw him last night alongside Borgore, he absolutely killed it.

For those of you that don’t know, trap is back and better than ever, and you don’t have to be rollin’ on 24s through the hood anymo’
