Borgore & Carnage Dropping Kennedy Jones Trap Remix of “Suavemente”

At 25 seconds, Elvis Crespo‘s voice (similar to that of a Latin Jesus) comes on….

SUAVEMENTE…..BESAME!

This song has apparently been floating around Borgore sets since part of the STM team saw him in Puerto Rico on our last spring break trip…But we’ve seen him 2 times since then and never heard it. Whats up Borgore?!… Well clearly he did his research before vising Puerto Rico. “Suavemente” originally by Elvis Crespo, a Puerto Rican-American Grammy and Latin Grammy award winner is a Puerto Rican classic! Go ahead and ask your your closest Puerto Rican, Mexican or Latin homie. Never would have though the genres of Trap and Merengue would be combined…But holy shit was was I wrong. Mind=Blown. Apparently the trap remix is originally by Kennedy Jones an upcoming trap artist who is performing with Borgore and Carnage this weekend in LA. The STM team really should be in attendance, but unfortunately we have some very big things coming for STM, so we will be busy at work in San Diego.

I’d just like to finish off this post with a shout-out to Christian for absolutely killing it on jams these past couple days while the rest of the team has been hard at work!

Elements – Lindsey Stirling

Lindsey Stirling is back! Just in time to satisfy your classical dubstep fix. Lindsey and damn dubstep violin are at it again with sort of the same type of deal. If didn’t catch Lindsey a few months back when Snapthemole.com wasn’t even a registered domain yet and we were stuck using wordpress, you missed out. She has a unique talent that allows her to enhance her sex appeal by being really good at the violin and getting down to filth.

We think she’s great…what about you?

Bassnectar – Hexes [ft. Chino Moreno]

“For those of you out there who enjoy the dark side of music, here’s my “Hexes” track for the new “Resident Evil: Retribution” movie, made with one of my favorite singers alive, Chino Moreno [big ups Chino]!!

I was thrilled to be a part of scoring this, and wanted to make a beat that dropped like a wall of bricks to knock people back in their seats at the movie’s sudden and dramatic end. Chino put together the lyrics in a poem that felt like a slow motion dream, and somehow the two sensations works in tandem: falling backwards in a dream while getting blown back by a wobbling wall of sound.”

TrAp MuSiK: ETC! ETC! & Brillz & Diplo – Bueller ft. Whiskey Pete (Vocal Mix)

It’s a Trap….

ETC!, Brillz and Diplo – talk about a Trap-Trifecta. Diplo, 1/2 the “Orignial Don” is after this trap movement and never stops letting us down. It’s going to be tough to be the trap anthems like ‘Spaceman’ and ‘Original Don,’ but this song is sure to hit you with some bass heavy sounds. For more Trap, be sure to check out DJ Carnage, as well. The SnapTheMole Team saw him last night alongside Borgore, he absolutely killed it.

For those of you that don’t know, trap is back and better than ever, and you don’t have to be rollin’ on 24s through the hood anymo’

Bombs Over Capitals by Max Vangeli & AN21 (Clark Kent Remix)

Santa Cruz native, Tal Richards, otherwise known as ‘Clark Kent’, has been killing it with dubstep remixes these days. Only 20 years old, this Dubstep and Electro-House producer throws down heavy dub with catchy beats, that’ll make sure all of his songs repeat in you’re head over and over again. He uses 5 words to describe himself “I like bass and stuff,” all SnapTheMole can reply to that is “So do we…”

Get Ready!

Nicky Romero & Calvin Harris – Iron (Original Mix)

Nicky’s stoked, clearly.

After seeing Nicky Romero @ Tramps Like Us here in San Diego, with the SnapTheMole team, we were thoroughly impressed. Interestingly enough, Calvin Harris is doing another collaboration – maybe he thinks he is getting to old or something and has to collab it up before we’re over it… Either way this song is a mildly long intro, but has a hard hitting beat that is sure to pump you up at the gym or on your daily walk through the park.

It’s not heavy (at all), but it’s pretty good. Be sure it give it a glance.

Zeds Dead Mix of the Week (Courtesy of Mixmag)

Lucky for MIXMAG, they got to catch an interview with my favorite Canadians, DC and Hooks, who comprise the legendary duo: ZEDS DEAD! Here at SnapTheMole (STM) we have a heavy appreciation for Zeds Dead and are more than willing to follow them on tour (hint hint). This mix of the week isn’t typical Zeds Dead, ” It actually kind of more of a chill mix, there’s definitely a lot of mellow stuff, there’s some dubstep and d’n’b, reggae, hip hop.” (Hooks)

Take a listen.

Afrojack – Annie’s Theme (Carnage Festival Trap Remix)

DJ Carnage is back! For all of you that don’t know this musical genius, he just remixed Hardwell’s “Spaceman” into one of the pinnacle songs of the trap-era we’re currently in.  Carnage also helped produce A$AP Rocky’s last album and plans on some big collaborations (hint: BORGORE) in the very near future. This Trap remix to Afrojack’s Annie’s Theme may not be as good as Spaceman, but definitely does define a Trap masterpiece…Trapsterpiece?
