Thought this was rather appropriate seeing as im in Puerto Rico. I couldn’t believe it when I heard Kennedy Jone’s Remix to “Suavemente” by Elvis Crespo, or when he and Borgore remixed “La Macarena” but I am even more astonished to hear this common spanish euphemism  to start off a trap song. If you don’t know what “mamame el bicho” means, look it up haha.

Talk about a Buygore ALLSTAR! Kennedy Jones has just released a trap-fiends dream. This song titled “Tutch Drap,” which I read as Dutch Trap at first (I think he did it on purpose) is simply some 2013 trap shit….. Amazing. Mr. Jones, coming straight out of LA, joined Borgore for his recent EP Release on Buygore records titled: “Buygore Allstars” and hasn’t let the world down since. This rising producer is constantly on ustream, and all other forms of social media interacting with his fans and gathering their input for use in his own original sounds. His live shows are almost all entirely his music, which he strives on. Remember this post, because he’s going to get huge! After absoultlely killing the trap remix to “Suavemente” the classic Puerto Rican jam by Elvis Crespo, Jones continues to hit the world with gold. If he is performing in your city, don’t miss him!

Borgore & Carnage – Feliz Navidad

In case you didn’t catch Borgore & Carnage’s Christmas Special, they just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas! It really reminds me of what Puerto Rico used to be like over the holidays…Christmas carols and gun shots. Who would have though that along with Elvis Crespo’s “Suavemente,” the simple yet classic “Feliz Navidad” would be next…#realtrapshit.

SUAVEMENTE…..BESAME!

This song has apparently been floating around Borgore sets since part of the STM team saw him in Puerto Rico on our last spring break trip…But we’ve seen him 2 times since then and never heard it. Whats up Borgore?!… Well clearly he did his research before vising Puerto Rico. “Suavemente” originally by Elvis Crespo, a Puerto Rican-American Grammy and Latin Grammy award winner is a Puerto Rican classic! Go ahead and ask your your closest Puerto Rican, Mexican or Latin homie. Never would have though the genres of Trap and Merengue would be combined…But holy shit was was I wrong. Mind=Blown. Apparently the trap remix is originally by Kennedy Jones an upcoming trap artist who is performing with Borgore and Carnage this weekend in LA. The STM team really should be in attendance, but unfortunately we have some very big things coming for STM, so we will be busy at work in San Diego.

I’d just like to finish off this post with a shout-out to Christian for absolutely killing it on jams these past couple days while the rest of the team has been hard at work!

How do I even describe this one…?  Let’s start off with this, if Calvin Harris doesn’t play this song when I see him next weekend, he’s going down in my books.  This song will have you screaming “SAY MA NAMEEEEEEEE” on the roof of your house, apartment, or maybe the table your sitting at right now. This is one for the record books; it’s simplicity and beauty really leave a lasting impression on you. I can easily say this has been my favorite song since It came out earlier this month. Calvin Harris’ EDM elements added to Florence Welch’s phenomenal voice really make this an all time favorite. Whether your just getting up, getting ready for a party, partying, chilling, or doing anything really, this song will make your day and press play, over and over again.

Liquid Stranger Live in Puerto Rico!~

So, I went to see Nero (DJ Set) which means that only 1 of them showed up, sorta lame but great show though Eitherway, after Nero got out of the DJ Booth, Martin Stääf, otherwise known as Liquid Stranger, MELTED MY FACE OFF. I really didn’t know much about this Sweedish born DJ but he is described as “the epitome of Transnational Dubstep covering everything from Latin, Asian, Eastern European and Jamaican Dancehall dubs.” I honestly couldn’t tell what the fuck was going on, due to my close proximity to the speakers and the large amounts of filth penetrating my eardrums and probably destroying my future hearing but I just know that my mind was blown.
